Shipping & Returns


We ship all of our packages with our chosen shipment provider PostNL. Listed below are the different shipment rates per region and package size. Please note that these rates are subject to change and Vintageby2nd reserves the right to alter the shipment rates on this page at any time. Price of shipment will always be calculated at checkout, based on the destination and size of the package.

As mentioned in the Terms & Conditions, Vintageby2nd strives to offer all orders for dispatch on the next day, but no later than 3 business days after receipt of the payment. Vintageby2nd is however not obliged to do so. You will receive e-mails informing you of updates to your order status and a tracking link.

If an order cannot be shipped completely, the order won’t be sent at all, unless consultation with the customer has taken place. In case the delivery of an order is delayed because (part of) the order is (temporarily) out of stock or for other reasons, or in case an order can’t be processed (completely), the customer will receive a message within 5 business days after placing the order. In that case, the customer has the right to cancel the order free of any charge. Vintageby2nd will then arrange an immediate and complete refund.

In accordance with Dutch legislation, every customer has the right to decide to return any item during a 14 day period, which starts after the item is delivered. After this 14 day period, returns won’t be accepted.

Follow these steps to submit a return successfully

Step 1: Contact via email. In this email, please indicate the items you ordered, the items you want to return, the reason why you want to return these items and your method of payment (Paypal, Ideal, etc).

Step 2: Make sure the items are in their original and unworn state. Worn items are not eligible for returns.

Step 3: Check your mail for an acceptance of return sent by Pre.ownd. This normally takes 1-3 working days. After you have received confirmation that you are eligible for a return, succerely package the items that are eligible for return, preferably in the original shipment box, and send them to the return address that will be provided. Make sure to ship the items in time to ensure that we will receive them within 14 days, otherwise we can’t accept the return. Shipment costs are to be paid by the customer.

Step 4: Wait until we receive your returned package. Upon receiving the returned item, we will check if you are eligible for a return once more. If everything checks out, we will refund you as soon as possible, normally within 1-3 working days.
